How it works and what technology is used
The principle is based on applying a thin layer of hot melt adhesive between the individual layers of products on the pallet. The system integrates into new and existing packaging lines, adhesive changeover takes place without downtime and the whole technology ensures reliable pallet stabilisation throughout handling and transport.
Adhesive application onto the layer
The application head applies thin beads or a spiral of hot melt adhesive onto the top of the packaging (carton, crate).
Stacking the layers
Once the next layer is placed, a strong yet easily separable bond forms between the layers within a few seconds.
Pattern control and layer counter
The control system (pattern control) with a counter monitors where and when the adhesive is applied – no adhesive is applied to the top layer.
A stable and gentle result
The pallet is secured against shifting, the bond withstands moisture and heat, and packaging is not damaged when broken down.
