How it works and the technology used
Wrap-around labelling takes place in two steps. A spray application head first applies a pattern of hot melt adhesive to catch the leading edge of the label, then a second application head seals the overlap at the trailing end of the label as it is wound around the circumference of the container. The control system with pattern control monitors the exact amount and position of the application and maintains a consistent bond throughout the entire production cycle.
