Cold glue application

One of the methods of industrial gluing is the application of cold glues, or cold gluing. This mainly involves the application of dispersion and reactive cold glues. Cold gluing is used, for example, in the production of packaging semi-finished products. However, the time needed for the water to evaporate and the adhesive to polymerise must be taken into account.

Depending on the type of system and the type of adhesive, low-pulsation piston pumps or precise gear pumps are used. For water-based adhesives, pressure tanks, piston and diaphragm pumps are available. Our equipment can process dispersion adhesives and one-component PUR adhesives.
