Scope of personal data and purposes of processing
We process the personal data you have entrusted to us, for the following reasons (to fulfil these purposes):
- provision of services, performance of the contract – we necessarily need your personal data to the extent of: first name, surname, e-mail, address, telephone in order to perform the contract
- bookkeeping – if you are a customer, we necessarily need your personal data (billing details) in order to comply with the legal obligation for the issuing and recording of tax documents.
- marketing – sending newsletters. We use your personal data (e-mail and name), gender, what you click on in the e-mail and when you most often open them for the purpose of direct marketing – sending commercial communications. If you are our customer, we do so on the basis of legitimate interest, as we reasonably assume that you are interested in our news, for a period of 5 years from the last order. If you are not our customer, we send you newsletters only on the basis of your consent, for a period of 3 years from its granting. In both cases you may withdraw this consent by using the unsubscribe link in every e-mail sent.
We retain your personal data for the duration of the limitation periods, unless the law provides a longer period for their retention or unless stated otherwise.
Security and protection of personal data
We protect personal data to the maximum possible extent using modern technologies that correspond to the level of technical development.
Transfer of data outside the European Union
All processing of personal data will be carried out within the territory of the EU.
Your rights in connection with the protection of personal data
In connection with the protection of personal data you have a number of rights. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us by e-mail at: marketing@kaletech.cz
- You have the right to information, which is fulfilled by this information page with the principles of personal data processing.
- The right of access – you may call on us at any time and we will document, within a period of 3 days, which of your personal data we process and why.
- The right to completion and change of personal data – if something changes on your side or you find your personal data to be out of date or incomplete.
- You may exercise the right to restriction of processing if you believe that we process inaccurate data about you, believe that we carry out processing unlawfully but do not want all the data deleted, or if you have raised an objection to the processing. You may restrict the scope of the personal data or of the purposes of processing. (For example, by unsubscribing from the newsletter you restrict the purpose of processing for sending commercial communications.)
- The right to portability – if you would like to take your personal data and transfer it to someone else, we will proceed in the same way as when exercising the right of access.
- The right to erasure (to be forgotten) – another of your rights is the right to erasure (to be forgotten).
Complaint to the Office for Personal Data Protection
If you feel that we do not handle your data in accordance with the law, you have the right to turn to the Office for Personal Data Protection with your complaint at any time. We would be very glad if you would first inform us of this suspicion, so that we can remedy any possible error.
Unsubscribing from newsletters and commercial communications
We send you e-mails with inspiration, articles, or products and services if you are our customer, on the basis of our legitimate interest. If you are not yet a customer, we send them to you only on the basis of your consent. In both cases you can end your subscription to our e-mails by pressing the unsubscribe link in every e-mail sent.
Confidentiality
We would like to assure you that our co-workers who will process your personal data are obliged to maintain confidentiality about personal data and about security measures whose disclosure would endanger the security of your personal data. This confidentiality continues even after the end of the contractual relationships with us. Without your consent, your personal data will not be released to any other third party!
