The head is suitable for the coating application of irregular products for which slot coating heads cannot be used. Aero makes it possible to set and regulate all gluing parameters independently, so that adhesive application corresponds exactly to your requirements. In addition, Aero is easy to maintain, easy to integrate and can also be used with robotic systems.

Coating application of adhesive onto products with complex shapes
The Aero head is unique thanks to its external air heater. This means that the temperature of the spray air is controlled independently of the adhesive temperature, which is a decisive factor for achieving a precise edge when spraying adhesive. In addition to the temperature of the spray air, the timing of the air supply and its pressure are also important parameters. These parameters are set and controlled individually, which is another essential factor for achieving precise adhesive application. The spray width is 6 to 90 mm.
Coating application of hot melt adhesives with a spiral spray with a very precise edge
The Aero application head is suitable above all for the spray application of hot melt adhesives onto products with a non-standard shape or surface.Typical applications are the gluing of car interior upholstery or the gluing of insulation materials in construction. The Aero head can apply hot melt and reactive adhesives in the form of a spray application and thus has a wide range of uses. It also easily handles high-viscosity adhesives, thanks to the ability to flexibly control the temperature of the spray air.
The Aero head has flexible mounting and easy integration. It also gets on well with robotic workstations.
Depending on the given installation and available space, the external air heater can be mounted on the left, on the right or remotely from the application head. This saves space in the production system. The spray head can be controlled directly via PLC using a standard 24 VDC interface. The Aero head is also suitable for use with robotic systems. We offer an integration kit with corresponding holders and software for selected collaborative robots.
Aero is available in a version as a single head or a head with several (up to 10) application nozzles. For the multi-nozzle version, their spacing can be ordered according to your wishes.
Aero has easy maintenance and protection against burns
The optional adhesive filter in the application head reduces nozzle clogging and thus maintenance requirements. The SX filter type used and the AX Diamond S spray element are compatible with other Robatech application heads, so there is no need to expand the spare parts inventory. When a nozzle needs to be replaced, the union nut is simply loosened and the nozzle is easily replaced. The Aero head is equipped with CoolTouch insulation, which protects personnel against burns in the event of accidental contact.
