Gluing of ground AKU bricks with soundproofing
Saving time, space and production costs by choosing a better adhesive and optimising the process.
Assignment
One of the largest Czech manufacturers of building materials approached Kaletech with the requirement to glue sound-insulating wool between two parts of acoustic bricks. This was an improvement to already existing production.
Solution
Kaletech offered a solution in the form of replacing PUR foam with a hot-melt adhesive and optimising the process. In terms of functionality, the hot-melt adhesive was just as suitable as PUR foam.
Results
The result was a rapid acceleration of the production of a single piece thanks to faster drying of the adhesive. In addition to the production time of a single piece, the customer also saved space in the production hall thanks to the removal of several dozen metres of drying belt.
