Automation of the ironing board gluing process
Switching from a manual to an automatic work station allowed the customer to save 25% of the costs for adhesive and 4 production workers.
Assignment
The customer wished to automate the existing process of ironing board gluing, which was carried out using a handheld applicator gun.
Solution
We used an automatic production line and firmly positioned application heads that dose the adhesive in a precise, constant quantity at a faster production cycle.
Results
Thanks to the new solution, the customer was able to save a quarter of the costs of adhesive consumption and 4 production workers, whom they could deploy in other parts of the production process.
