The innovative FlexPort hose-connection panel ensures flexible, easy implementation of the equipment. Thanks to the SmartTerminal, operators can easily check the system status. With state-of-the-art insulation technology, Vision is unrivalled in terms of energy consumption. It handles adhesive gently, and its efficient use of thermal energy ensures rapid operational readiness.

Coloured LEDs on the display indicate changes in the equipment's operating status and show its current adhesive fill level. Without having to open the unit's lid, operators can see from a distance whether the melter is working optimally and when the adhesive needs refilling.
A seven-segment display shows the current pump pressure and, in the event of a fault, immediately indicates the problem. By displaying the current pump pressure, the operator can react to changes immediately and ensure the correct amount of adhesive is delivered and products are reliably bonded.
FlexPort: flexibility when planning the implementation of hot-melt systems
FlexPort is a fully insulated panel for connecting heated hoses. These can be connected at several angles in 45° increments. Vision can thus be positioned in various ways and brought closer to the application heads. This shortens the required length of the heated hose.
Despite its high melting capacity, Vision requires little space and is therefore also suitable for upgrading existing adhesive application systems. FlexPort and the variable mounting of the touchscreen allow longitudinal or transverse installation. Vision is compatible with heated hoses and application heads manufactured by Robatech after the year 2000.
Sophisticated insulation for top energy efficiency
Vision achieves an excellent energy balance. Innovative insulation around the melt tank effectively reduces heat losses. Compared with other melters in its class, energy consumption is reduced by up to 30 percent. The heating output is regulated quickly and precisely by means of two heating zones. As a result, the adhesive is melted gently and does not overheat.
Quality bonded joints and high process reliability
Thanks to the fast-switching piston pump, pressure conditions are stable and the pump operates with minimal cycling. The favourable heat distribution between the pump and the adhesive distributor keeps the adhesive viscosity at a constant level. Both factors are essential for an even, repeatable application of hot melt adhesive onto the product. While the system remains in operation, the sloping bottom of the melt tank causes impurities in the adhesive to sink into a collection area and not be distributed to the product.
Protection of personnel and production
Vision can be fully integrated into production systems. In this case the adhesive melter is controlled remotely via WLAN or a host source, including automatic adhesive refilling with RobaFeed. Insulating covers and the automatic filling system protect operators and maintenance staff from burns. Automatic refilling also eliminates the risk of impurities entering the system.
Design engineered for fast maintenance
Maintenance-related downtime should be as short as possible. For this reason, Vision makes all maintenance-related components accessible through a single opening. The otherwise time-consuming cleaning of the tank is easy with Vision. Using a cleaning plug, adhesive residues and impurities that have penetrated into the collection area at the bottom of the tank can be removed quickly and thoroughly.
Simple system integration and operation
Vision is ready for Industry 4.0. Using the Robatech Control System (RCS), the entire system can be integrated into production control systems, giving a perfect overview of production, rejects and predictive maintenance. The system also has its own quality control thanks to sensors that detect the presence of adhesive. RCS offers open interfaces and supports a whole range of standardised Fieldbus protocols for direct system integration. The range of functions related to the gluing process can be expanded at any time using a software key.
