SX Diamond / SX LongLife jetting head
A jetting head for precise dot and bead application of hot melt adhesive with a small installation footprint. The SX LongLife variant offers a significantly extended service life.
SX Diamond and SX LongLife are jetting heads for contactless application of low to medium viscosity thermoplastic hot melt adhesives. Both variants share the same construction and differ only in the jetting element – SX LongLife offers a significantly longer service life with the same small installation footprint.
The heads are designed for precise dot and bead application at medium to high speeds, with a clean break-off even at high machine speeds. Thanks to their small installation footprint, they are well suited to retrofits and machines with limited space. The modular construction allows a choice of jetting element and configuration as a single or multiple head, so it can be adapted to specific applications in the packaging and printing industries.

An integrated filter in the heating block prevents nozzle clogging, and nozzle protection reduces wear and heat loss. The optional SX Fast solenoid valve increases the switching frequency to up to 180 Hz and can also be retrofitted to existing heads. CoolTouch insulation protects operators and bonded products from heat and keeps the adhesive temperature constant even on very fast machines; for bottom-up application, a special anti-fouling cover is available, extending service life and reducing maintenance requirements. As part of the Diamond range, the head is compatible with most Robatech application systems.
