The FKV coating head for contact application of hot melt and PUR adhesive onto paper, textiles, film and foam, with an application width of up to 3,200 mm.
FKV is a range of coating heads for contact application of thermoplastic and PUR hot melt adhesives onto a wide range of materials – paper, textiles, fabrics, film, nonwovens and foam. The application width can be set to up to 3,200 mm, depending on head size.

Flow control in the melter keeps the coating weight constant even at varying production speeds, temperature control with optimal heat distribution in the head contributes to application quality, and an optional mounting bracket precisely aligns the head with the material. A precise edge definition saves material at the edges and reduces trim waste.
A durable steel construction and a nozzle shape with no dead spots for residual adhesive ensure a long service life and smooth adhesive flow; an integrated filter captures impurities. FKV is manufactured in two versions – with a continuously adjustable application width (manual or motorised, for quick format changes) and with a fixed width defined by a mask in the nozzle, which can also be used for economical application patterns (e.g. stripes).
