Presto coating head
An electric coating head for contact application of solvent-free dispersion adhesive – intermittent or continuous – with an interchangeable mask for different application widths.
Presto is an electrically controlled coating head for contact application of solvent-free dispersion adhesives, either intermittently or continuously. It is particularly suited to gluing paper bags (including one-kilogram food bags), window envelopes and bags, paper straws, book covers and cardboard furniture parts.

The head is electrically driven and does not require compressed air – reducing operating costs and running very quietly. It has no dynamic seals, so wear is minimal, and with up to 1 billion duty cycles, Presto is highly durable. An electrically opened feed mechanism and a switching frequency of up to 500 Hz ensure a precise start, clean cut-off and precise edge definition. An optional Robatech mounting bracket allows precise positioning of the head relative to the material.
The application width and pattern are determined by an interchangeable mask in the nozzle, which can be changed in just a few steps – a quick format change without modifying the rest of the system. The compact construction also fits into confined spaces. The head is controlled directly via PLC (24 V DC) or Robatech control (6 V DC with boosting).
