Flexible production thanks to modular hot-melt systems
High production speed and customer-specific requirements for packaging systems at the end of the line require high quality and flexibly adaptable technologies. For example, machine manufacturer Vervo Advanced Packaging Technologies will gain great flexibility for optimal configuration of packaging machines thanks to the modular hot-melt adhesive application system from Robatech.
“With Robatech, we can offer our customers a variety of hot-melt adhesive application systems and configure the optimal variants for the required applications on our machines,” says Ali Ekrem Özüzümcü from Vervo Business Development & Advanced Packaging Technologies. “The hot-melt adhesive application heads of the SX Diamond series operate quickly and precisely. Different jetting elements and valve heads can be combined. This allows easy adjustment of the application angle and rapid format changes.”

Automation of adhesive layer measuring detection – we already know how to do it
Automatic measurement of the adhesive layer was a challenge for our experts. A customer contacted Kaletech with a request for the implementation of automated measurement of the adhesive layer for upholstery on car door panels.
We adapted our solution together with the GF Machinery line manufacturer to the customer’s requirements. The result, which generated mutual satisfaction, was due not only to the technical support and expert consultations, but also a willingness to seek unconventional solutions. The gluing technology delivered from Swiss company Robatech has proven itself.
The existing solution is now more efficient from the point of view of adhesive consumption, and thanks to automated measurement, the quality and uniformity of adhesive coating is monitored continuously.
